About
At its core, EUDEN is a space of active dialogue where projects are conceived, developed, and challenged in an environment of collective critique.
The group arose from a common recognition that today’s most pressing global challenges from the fragmentation of settlement systems to the escalating climate crisis demand more than isolated disciplinary responses. They call for a fundamental rethinking of the design process itself.
Driven by this conviction, EUDEN focuses on architectural research embedded in complex settlement contexts. The group strives to develop and test forward-thinking design strategies that are both methodologically innovative and deeply responsive to local specificities.
Through this approach, EUDEN continuously redefines the role of the designer as both a theorist and a practitioner operating within an evolving global landscape.
The group’s foundation lies in the shared academic and research journey undertaken at the International Master’s Program in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano,Italy. where its members first cultivated a culture of critical inquiry, experimentation, and transdisciplinary collaboration

Prof. Arch. Paolo Debiaggi, Adjunct Professor in “Environmental Technology” at the master degree course in “Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design”. For over 25 years he has been carrying out his professional activity, in an autonomous and partnership form, both in Italy and abroad, in the design and management of the transformation processes of physical space, at the different scales of architecture (landscape – building – interiors), urban design, reuse and conversion of existing spaces and buildings, feasibility studies of urban transformation and real estate enhancement interventions, for both private and public clients. In particular, develops a specific attitude in the management of complex decision-making processes in which different interests, private and collective, coexist and must be governed, regulatory and procedural complexity, specialized technical skills, appropriate technologies, management and control of costs and quality. He has always been focusing his attention, both in research and professionally, on sustainability issues applied both at the scale of architecture and urban transformation in a regenerative key.
